Facial Asymmetries

Common facial asymmetries associated with torticollis:

  • Smaller and/or higher eye
  • Elevated, cupped and/or flattened ear
  • Flattened jaw line
  • Tilted mandible (jaw bone)
  • Elevation of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) of the jaw
  • Depression of neck under ear
  • Protruded forehead on one side
